Tumbling into Fall ...

Raggz

Well, can you believe it ... Labor Day is now behind us, most of the kids are packed off to school and here we are (in south central Virginia) facing the hottest and most humid weather of the whole year!  With that said, I am so delighted to begin celebrating my favorite time of the year ... fall and winter and that means Halloween and Christmas!!!

Raggz is one of my creations (life-size) that I made last year for the store window of Erin Hutchinson's new shop, The Stitchin' Post, in Lexington, VA (one of my favorite cozy spots in all the world).  As you can see, Raggz has life-size clothing and shoes and is such a sweet, huggable ragbuddy.  He now lives with Erin, owner of the Stitchin' Post, and hopefully again will be seated in her shop window to greet those special customers who are fans of the shop and all it has to offer: knitting works of art, luscious yarns of exotic colors and types, and many other types of quilting, knitting, smocking, spinning (of the wooly type), various selections of sewing project supplies, exciting lessons and sewing camps and just a wonderful place to gather and chat with other artists and pleasant visitors.  Erin reports that Raggz truly behaved himself (he can sometimes be somewhat of a mischief) as he enjoyed riding around in her car all summer (buckled in his seat appropriately, of course).

Erin has just celebrated her first anniversary of having her shop in Lexington and I am sure she will enjoy many more wonderful years here.  Stop by when you are in Lexington ... there are great ideas and projects, gift ideas galore and loads of wonderful southern hospitality!  And Raggz will be happy to give you a wave hello or a hug if you need one.

Huggity~Hugs ...
